Eh, I still wish we got him. Although it was still a fleece because Harden is a corpse.

Bro forgot to take his fat suit off before he joined the clippers
Man imagining bron in a sixers jersey is so wild. I think he’d be a perfect fit for us and we could keep his minutes low. Why the fuck not? It isn’t gonna happen anyways
Zion wanted to let fat suit harden know that his suit is ALL NATURAL.
Big “stop having fun” vibes
Bro just give me a teague’s take on fucking anything I’ll eat that shit right up
Lol with them holding onto each others jerseys and spinning around looks like they dancing
It’s so annoying because Jokic is obviously a generational talent and he’s a good dude. But /r/nba slobs on his knob so hard it made me like him less. And for some reason even though they hate James Harden they still manage to side with him and his clown behavior because they just hate the sixers that much.
I’m listening to national media people say shit like “for harden in LA to work, harden needs to start hitting catch and shoot 3s” and it reminds me of people saying “Ben Simmons needs to start taking jump shots”… like yeah, if he did the thing that he refuses to do then we would have loved that, him refusing to do it is the problem.
Have you watched any of the mid season tournament games that went on so far? They are low key hype and most of them were really good games. Having that in November is really cool imo, and I was against it from the rip
I could see them giving tournament winners a e better seed in the playoffs I just have no idea how that would look.
“An interesting dynamic” is such a robot way of starting that statement
You know, we joke about it but Doc saying “not gonna go on a Paul reed victory tour” was one of the most disrespectful thing I’ve ever heard a coach say about a young, up and coming player that is coming into their own. Why the fuck wouldn’t you want success out of a kid with a lot of talent, high motor at the back up center position that was already weak?? Fucking inexcusable
Honestly if you put Hardens knowledge of the game and skill into the mind and body of Tyrese Maxey we’re talking about an All NBA first team player. We’re not getting that per day, but we’re getting about as close as we can and it’s awesome.
Kind of reminds me when we let chip Kelly go all our players were so athletic because of the fast pace offense they had to run(which had an adverse effect on the defensive end), then they applied that to a legit NFL play style.
I think it depends on how you watch the game. If you watch it from a first person perspective of who has the ball, then yeah harden is cool! He makes cool passes, does nice iso dribble moves and hits some sexy step backs. But if you watch the team playing against another team, then he’s a disaster to watch. Turnstile on defense, stands around when he doesn’t have the ball, barely goes for loose balls and his iso tendencies cause other players to disengage just standing around watching him.
Generally, people that played structured, competitive basketball (in my experience) don’t like watching him because of how much he gums up the works. But people that love to play pickup and hit sick moves like to watch him because of the flash he has with the ball in his hands. To each their own.
Wtf did we do to deserve Nick nurse? The vibe is different, games are fun to watch and it seems that people are all buying in…this is not what we’ve had at any time in the post-process era. Like did we just have to actually hit rock bottom to start making moves in the right direction? Whatever it is, I love it and I don’t want us to star hunt. I think we just grab a solid player that fits into our system if the right fit is available but I think we can contend right now.
While I agree, a lot of his issues are the same issues that drove me crazy when he played for the sixers. Refusing to move his feet without the ball in his hands (seriously there was a loose ball and he leaned over half heartedly to grab it instead of taking a step), watching the ball on defense and trying so hard for the flashy assist that he turns the ball over instead of working into the offense and making the right play.
I’m so glad he’s gone, this isn’t going to work out well in LA and even as he settles into the offense a lot of this stuff isn’t going to change.
I’m absolutely loving listening to Bill Simmons rack his brain about why the Clippers gave up so much for a guy no one else in the league was really fighting for. I think he’s absolutely right, idk how the clippers make that trade and feel good about it. Does anyone have an idea if there is another team that was going for harden outside the clippers?
How cool is it to see our future right before our eyes? Seeing the way Davis and Carter have been fitting into the team on and off the field makes me so excited for our future as a franchise once we lose guys like Cox and BG
