For me it is Yakuza 0 and Prey. Love everything about Yakuza but I only played 40 hours in span of a year. I love Arkane games but Prey just doesn’t pull me in, might be because I’m trying to do no alien powers run first…
BioShock
Far cry 6. Always loved the gameplay of the Far Cry series, but didn’t enjoy this one.
Warhammer 40k space marine. Played it in 2023 thinking I would absolutely love it. Felt much to generic.
Atomic Heart, the opening shows off an amazing setting with intriguing lore but the performance & little inconveniences like the weird sprint speed to the English dub seeming quite off paced made me drop it.
- Far Cry 6
- Valhalla
Played 3 and 4 multiple times to 100% om hardest. 5 multiple times and full game in coop.
Can’t get 1/3rd past FC6 and I’ve tried 3 times now. What a mediocre joke compared to the past.
Valhalla is just too much space with too many items worth so little. And just feels like I’ve played it all. The story is all predictable and cliches.
For me it was god of war ragnarok. Personally didn’t love the story and it basically felt like the same game as gow1. Not nearly enough combat variation as the earlier games, lacking enemy types. Extremely frustrating harder difficulty, but the one below it was too easy. Overall just didn’t love it and couldn’t finish it
Final Fantasy 16. Just got too repetitive and the filler side quests were bad
Elden ring
Borderlands 3. I was so hyped for it because I really liked Borderlands 1 and 2 but 3 just massively disappointed me with it’s awful writing and dialogue. Plus I CAN’T SKIP CUTSCENES!
Yes, I have over 300 hours on BL2. After seeing the gameplay trailer my jaw dropped-- it looked gorgeous, guns felt and sounded amazing but God the writing is so bad like it was always a bit cheesy but it seemed like writers didn’t even know what they were writing about, it was just random stuff taken from a Twitter thread.
Bayonetta 3. Felt like an imposter of a game.
