I am not a smart or lucky gambler, but I had such a great feeling about this game. Drove six hours to get there pretty much last minute, put $30 down moneyline, and bang, that’s a $118 payout. That 7.5 spread was delusional, Broncos are not the September team anymore.
We’re so back baby!!
Wooooo! What a fucking win, idc if the bills charger’d that game away, how many games have we lost like that over the past 8 years? We were due to have a break come our way.
BTW has anyone checked to see if Diggs is okay? After being locked up by PS2 all night, I almost forgot he played last night. Let’s go boys 12-5 till we ain’t
We got the hard teams out of the remainder of the season with W’s. Now we don’t really play any crazy teams. Are we making it further than the wildcard?
The lions are probably the hardest team outside of the chiefs.
This team is developing GRIT and a winning culture and I FUCKING LOVE IT. GO BRONCOS!!
That was the first game I felt like we got the full Russell Wilson experience.
He hit some big plays downfield (Sutton, Jeudy).
His dropback game was super frustrating (some bad sacks and unwillingness to throw the ball).
He escaped and made big, improbable plays (Sutton).
He was savvy and made plays when they needed them most (Perine, his runs).
A key drive under 2-minutes to come from behind and win on the road with fans in full throat.
And they won in a truly improbable way.
Does this make me trust him and the offense more? No, but credit where credit is due. That was a hell of a win.
The day after a win feels so good
Last night was messy and honestly a fluky, but so were a lot of games in 2015. You gotta be lucky, but you also have to find some way to capitalize on that luck. The Broncos (eventually) managed to do that last night
We desperately need WR’s that can get open. Hopefully we pay tee Higgins or mike Evan’s after cutting Juedy
That play where Russ had 5 seconds in a clean pocket and not a single receiver was open was hard to watch
This was that Mile High Magic I’ve been missing so much!!!
We got a coach fired and it’s not ours that’s wild!
My cortisol levels are still spiked today but I’m happy for that win. Really wanna see our run D not give up 10 ypc and have our WR get some space for Russ to throw. I’ll be excited to see Tim Jenkins analysis to see if the deep shots weren’t there or if Russ just didn’t you’ll the trigger. Either way I can’t wait for another prime time game against another trending upwards team
2 things have really stuck with me from that game.
First, I can’t get over them calling all out blitz on back to back plays like they’re playing their nephew in Madden. Had they lined up the same way then sent their DBs deep in quarters and dropped a couple underneath guys they probably get the offense to short circuit and make a play. Even Paxton Lynch would have made the adjustment to get it out deep if they came again.
Second was that cruel Bills graphic. I know the intent was to point out their recent playoff issues but that fan base doesn’t deserve that kinda mockery after the heartbreak of 4 straight Super Bowl losses. Not often I feel for another fan base but that’s as loyal of a group as you’ll ever see and the MNF graphic was just too much.
Bills fan here. There was a quote the announcers used of Russell Wilson’s, it was something along the lines of “any time you get to the top of the mountain, you have to be ready to climb back up”. Does anyone know the interview this quote of Wilson’s came from or the exact quote. Unrelated to football, it really struck a chord with me personally
