So the Bills can fire their OC but we can’t? What gives? We are stuck with an underdeveloped offense full of superstar potential. We need a petition or something to get this idiot fired, because Jesus Christ he’s awful.
Sure the Bills fired Dorsey, it was deserved, but to be really honest that team is imploding. How do you not see this as a desperate move by a HC that will most likely be fired at the end of the season?
I think the difference is that McDermott is a defensive coach. So when he fires the OC, that can be an enormous shake up for their offense. In Jax this is Pederson’s offense. Press is running his scheme and no matter who’s calling the plays. If the offense isn’t working it’s much more Pederson’s fault than the Bills offense is McDermotts. I have a hard time imagining Pederson firing his guy for something that’s partially his own fault. I’m hopeful that they resort responsibilities and get back to whatever they were doing at the end of last year because this offense is hardly recognizable even though personnel is largely the same.
