He does elevate his team though. Brandon Staley is 23-22 as a head coach, but he’s an absolute negative. I just don’t understand the narrative that one player has to suck for the other to be good. Give the Chargers a halfway decent coach and they are a substantially better team. It just blows my mind that you don’t seem to grasp that.

We do. Don’t get it twisted the refs are a damn joke this season. The Texans were getting away with blatant holds. The Chiefs Jets game was absolutely pathetic officiating. Truth of the matter in the Texans game wasnt it was well officiated, but they made the call to kick a 58 yard FG with a subpar kicker. They also complained about Josh Allen’s horsecollar sack, but there is t horsecollar in the pocket, so a lot of it is not knowing the rules.

I love the enthusiasm and hope you and your son have an absolute blast at the game, but I’m not a fan of signs at live events. Just imagine your excitement and then the people in front of you were holding a sign up blocking your view, that would suck, so maybe this is a teachable moment where you could show your son that signs can hurt the fan experience. You’re using a lot of Madden words and not real football words. Yes this team is struggling, but you can’t, and sure the myriad of reasons scope falls on more than 1 person. Is Trevor struggling? At times, yes. Is he 100%? Most likely not. Great coaches win games in the NFL, and Doug has this squad looking at their second straight above .500 season, so there is some good. We also haven’t played a team that as of right now has a losing record, which is bananas. If your gameplan though isn’t playing to your players strengths, instead trying to force a system, the that to me falls on the coaching. Just look at what KOC is doing.

Sure the Bills fired Dorsey, it was deserved, but to be really honest that team is imploding. How do you not see this as a desperate move by a HC that will most likely be fired at the end of the season?
