Jeff Schultz reports that most likely Arthur Smith will be retained for next year…

This is not going to go over well with most individuals…

However, what if he brought in an OC to take over play-calling and he just focus on being a HC?

Would that be a fair compromise or are we better off without him entirely?

You mean during the year? What OC is out there that can come right in? A big part of the allure was Smiths play calling. Look at his offensive coaching staff. He wants it to be all about him. Charles London left for a lateral move this year. Who says he’s willing to bring in someone mid year? That’s just ridiculous.

I’ve been saying all year that he was likely hired with a 4-5 year plan to get good. This Is likely year 3 of his five year plan and he will be able to see the Time through. I get roasted every-time I say that for being an idiot but I must have been the only one paying attention to what went on during the coaching hiring process. And as always when I say Arthur isn’t getting fired, Downvote me to oblivion!! Cheers:)
