Tier 1: Jokic

Tier 2: Steph/Embiid

Tier 3: Luka/Giannis/Tatum

Tier 4: Booker/SGA/LeBron/KD

Tier 5: Ant/Hali/AD/Maxey/Butler

The full top 50 is here

What do ya’ll think? Personally I think Maxey in the top 15 is a huuuge overreaction to a 10 games stretch. Most didn’t even have him top 40 in the offseason.

Move Giannis up and Embiid down Maxey is also a little high and AD is a little low

Realistically, what’s the best team of 5 that the group of 4 Jokic, Embiid, Giannis, Steph could beat in a 7 game series?

On offense, someone would always be open from 3 but I’m just imagining people trying to follow Steph around a chain of screens from 3 giants and deciding at random which one rolls

There’s no way White and KCP aren’t borderline top 50, probably just below the 41-50 tier. Starting 5 of Boston and Denver are ridiculously stacked.

Don’t think I’d pick Embiid over anyone from tier 3.

I respect your opinion regarding Maxey; I only ask that you let Maxey know.

LeBron belongs in Tier 3, he’s still clearly at that level, when healthy. The fact that he just hasn’t gotten the benefit of the doubt since the Solomon Hill injury is beyond me.

KOC is not a “serious” analyst. That’s not an insult. It’s just clear that he either plants his flag and won’t move, or else everything is super “prisoner of the moment” if he doesn’t already have an established take. He’s a piece in the basketball take-o-sphere, which is fine, but I don’t think he’d ever admit that.

It cracks me up how Fox is always below Haliburton despite making the playoffs last year and being dominant in the playoffs when healthy. And being All-NBA in the West. NBA writers pick their favorites and since they’re all fucking nerds they pick the same ones lol. Also, no I’m not a Hali hater I’m a huge fan

Lauri Markannen has to be one of the most underrated players in the league. He’s been putting up basically 25/10 on 50/40/90 ever since the start of last season and mfs are putting him on the same tier as a rookie?

I could see why some other people would hate this list but I’m just happy Ant is finally getting some recognition. Lot of people said Ant would be top 15 by the end of the year

Top 15 and no sign of Malachi Flynn and Killian Hayes?

List is trash I tell you.

Darko has actually revived Malachi to an extent that he’s legitimately contributing
