Main points of the deal:

• They will establish a joint venture (JV), Stellantis 51%, Leapmotor 49% called Leapmotor International
• Leapmotor will be in charge of China manufacturing and sales, and Stellantis will have exclusivity for all markets outside China
• Leapmotor vehicles will be manufactured in Stellantis plants globally, including the US, if tariffs are too high, according to CEO Tavares
• First Leapmotor vehicles will be exported to Europe in second half 2024, US market will follow.
