There is no source in the article of that 50 countries claim nor list of those countries. I don’t say it’s not true, but it would be nice to have the list or at least the source of that information cos BYD didn’t officialy announced any of this.

Main points of the deal:

• They will establish a joint venture (JV), Stellantis 51%, Leapmotor 49% called Leapmotor International
• Leapmotor will be in charge of China manufacturing and sales, and Stellantis will have exclusivity for all markets outside China
• Leapmotor vehicles will be manufactured in Stellantis plants globally, including the US, if tariffs are too high, according to CEO Tavares
• First Leapmotor vehicles will be exported to Europe in second half 2024, US market will follow.
