I feel nothing but acceptance over it, don’t even dislike Eagles fans as much as I used to.

That Blair Walsh missed fieldgoal against Seattle is a totally different beast though imo, now that I might never truly get over lol.

If you were over the age of 12 for the 1998 NFCCG, anything after 2009 is just numb. As an adult in 1998, even the 2009 game wasn’t super painful.

That Blair Walsh missed field goal was so bizarre not because we all thought he would make it but because we knew deep down that he would miss it.

It was as if you were having a great day with your guys and just got home, the second you lock your door you get a phone call, you feel this warm feeling wash over you before you answer it you just knew it was some terrible news.

Been over it….98 hurt but I was young. 09 shot me through the heart and still pisses me off

I’m over it, but mentally prepping myself for the next one. I can’t help but feel like the Dobbs magic carpet ride is going to end in absolute heartbreak.

I was actually really sick while that game happened. Didn’t have the capacity to feel let down at the time. Then afterward it seemed like a very Vikings thing to do. We got annihilated. Making it an easier loss to accept.

I never expected much from that team, never had enough faith in the qb.

2009 was our year and we got horrendously screwed by the refs vs Saints. That hurts even worse than 98 because at least in 98 they lost on their own, vs refs absolutely winning that game for the Saints.

It wasn’t as bad because we were clearly outplayed. Same as 41-0. Now, 98 and 09 had that awful feeling that we really should have won, so those feel a lot worse.

Still not over the disrespect for the Eagles organization and fans. I’m over the game though.

The game I have trouble overcoming is the 98 divisional game against the Falcons. We were 15-1 that year and everyone on the planet thought we were going to win the SB that year.

But… The past is the past. Moving onward and upward with the Pastronaut. This current team is a lot of fun. :)

It sucked, but I’d much rather get our asses kicked like that instead of a nail biting heartbreaking loss like 09/98.
