1 year agoReporting people for being bad has always been a thing, however, being punished for those reports hasn’t been a thing - otherwise i would have seen LP alot more than the 2-3 times I’ve been there in 10 years (due to abandons for various reasons).
Agreed, I have a confirmed smurf on my friends list after I lost to him and his team in BC every weekend for months. Sometimes we would play them in the first match, sometimes the final, but every week we would lose to them and it was so frustrating, completely ruined the fun of it.
I went through his profile, he only logged on for BC, played a few turbo games before BC each week, didn’t have a rank, won BC every week, and had crazy high win % and his networth in every game was so far above everyone else’s, it was obvious. I reported him many times, but nothing ever came of it.
I added him so I could try to dodge him in BC and was surprised when he accepted the request. That’s the only potentially legitimate smurf I’ve ever come across. I usually give people the benefit of the doubt for having a good game vs. me/my team having a bad game, but losing to this guy in BC every week really pissed me off.
