They both were destined to fail. VY was not going to be a good long term starter, and Fisher was done being an effective coach.

Fisher certainly could have treated the situation better. VY certainly could have chosen fight through instead of be outwardly a pouter.

You’re right. This pass defense was/is not good with or without him. It’s more of a symbolic loss than anything that will translate to the W-L column in a significant way.
