If you plan to tailgate with people or a commercial one (pay for tickets in advance)- the parking lots around the stadium open 5 hours before game time. The actual stadium gates open 2 hours before kickoff. You will hear fireworks go off about an hour before kickoff.

Buy the rain ponchos before getting to the stadium. There may be some for sale in the team store but limited supply (no one hands them out for free).

During warmups, the stadium guards typically allow you to walk down close to the stadium but some do not. Folks do come late and as long as you move if someone comes to that seat, shouldn’t be a problem. As a season ticket holder, there were definitely empty seats on “Black Friday.” Probably will be again this Sunday and the rest of the season.

Also, people do sit in their seats. Stand when others stand and sit when others sit. Just be aware and courteous.

Alcohol

You know what? In 2009, after firing “Man-genius” and hiring Rex Ryan - we made the playoffs after going 4-6 - finished 9-7 for a wild card. On any given Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday (think that’s all the days that NFL games could be played)… any team could conceivably beat another team.

Hackett was Aaron’s guy - it’s because Aaron would audible /change the play calling at the line of scrimmage. Great QBs make their OC’s seem better than they are … and mediocre QBs show the glaring flaws and issues with their OCs.

Maybe a change in play calling location would allow Hackett to see the field better ? I don’t know. Doesn’t hurt to change things up a bit. We need to try something new. Also, maybe let hurt Lazard be a “healthy” scratch. Institute a penalty consequence- you will sit out plays if the mental mistakes result in a penalty (holding calls).

Apparently there are 4 teams without official NFL mascots, Chargers, Jets, Giants and Packers. I would’ve thought the teams would have monetized it over the years but guess not.
