I mean Smart just got hurt in the 1st half of this game; and are now down total, like 5 or 6 main rotation guys.

That many Injuries/suspensions are gonna kill any team.

They don’t really have the contracts; it’s only Pat or Portis. Otherwise it’s a combo of 4 vet mins lol.

They also only have 2 SRPs.

Unless they give up some rookies, or Beauchamp or something, but idk if they do that. He’s on a nice team friendly contract right now.

I remember hearing they’re one of a handful of teams without analytics guys, or were one of the last teams that were last to hire them.

They’re very antiquated in that regard, for better or worse.

They may have changed this over the last few years, I just remember this was a talking point around here right around the '20 ring/COVID season.

He’s not very flexible.

His rotations seem set in stone (subs players in and out based off a plan established pre-game).

He benched AR during the close since he was off, that’s good. Great adjustment. Everyone has an off night. Fine.

Rui had 10 points, played maybe 6 min total in the second half from the end of the 3rd, to mid 4th, was the reason they came back, and what did he do? Benched him too.

That’s just…not good.

It’s great he made adjustments to bench a player having an off night, but not recognizing when a player is playin great, is equally not great.
