I’m definitely ditching my gaming consoles in favor of the SD, docked mode on my entertainment center. I’m not going to be traveling for awhile, and wince I only play it docked it really doesn’t make sense to purchase the OLED.

I play mine docked the majority of the time. Maybe I should check our the small screen prior to ordering the OLED…
From what I have read, no.
Ok quick updates, after some helpful and hurtful feedback this is what I did. I went into settings, turned off auto select for resolution, selected 3840x2160@60, then went into the games I mentioned, selected Native under properties, then for arkham knight, went into the graphics options selected 1280x800 with AA turned off. Max FPS set to 60. Now I am able to hit 60 fps. Sometimes it drops down in the 30s depending on how much ass I’m kicking but I think it looks great. Thanks for all the help!

I’m interested in finding out what the performance will be for the new upgrades while docked. That’s where the bulk of my time is spent on the SD, while it’s docked.
I was sleeping when the order window opened and missed out on the special edition.
So when the OLED was announced, i thought i was gonna be all in. Then I got the bright idea to go ahead and finally purchase a dock for my old one. I’m not going to be traveling for awhile, therefore I won’t be needing the small screen anytime soon. By the time I do hit the road for my job the new steam deck 2 will be released.
Doom Eternal, mostly to test performance.
The only reason why I haven’t upgraded to the OLED is because i only play mine docked to my Samsung 4k. I bought the dock as soon as the OLED was announced…
