Just pulled the trigger on an OLED. I haven’t played a game on my PC for over a year, it’s simply used to stream football matches to my Chromecast on the weekends.

I already have a laptop and a PS5 that can do the heavy lifting. I also have a PS Vita that gets used daily simply because it’s so convenient, so I know the Steam Deck will get some play.

Just curious about others.

Mostly. I don’t use my pc near as often because it’s in a cold basement. I’d rather game on the warm main floor than in freezing temperatures

I utilize my steam deck for very specific games like indie titles and emulation but i leave my pc for the heavy AAA games. Steam deck got me into i die boomer shooters like Prodeus and Sprawl, but recently ive been playing the No More Heroes franchise which is 30fps on switch but 60fps on the steam deck.

Not a chance. My PC has much more performance than the SD. So any games that I want to play with keyboard and mouse or need high performance goes to my PC

Not at all. My SD is a companion to my PC to allow me to seamlessly continue games where I left off whether that’s in the couch, in bed, or on the go. But as a longtime PC gamer, the SD is going to have to get a lot more powerful before it can legitimately replace my PC gaming setup on an OLED ultrawide with a 4080.

I use it as my gaming PC. Yes.

To be fair I was never actually using my PC. But now that I have the steam deck, I have absolutely no interest in any consoles or gaming PCs. If they keep making steam decks, I’ll keep buying them and that’s all I need.

Oh and an Oculus Quest 3. Those are my two gaming devices.

    I don’t need anything else.

Yes. I don’t have a console outside an RG35XX so yeah. The deck (OLEd arriving tomorrow) is my gaming pc. Exclusively.

I rarely touch my gaming pc now because I’m so addicted to Vampire Hunter, Stardew Valley and Graveyard Keeper, which all have very low battery consumption.

Nah because while the steamdeck is really good, it isn’t as good as most gaming PCs, and its battery is too poor. It is of a similar power to my current PC from 2018, but this PC does everything else better, such as games that run better on Directx 12, or Discord, so I only use the steamdeck if I’m out, travelling, or playing a game that simply feels better on the tinier screen (Heroes of Hammerwatch, Monster Hunter Rise).

I’m on the waiting list for my OLED to come in…

No but my gaming PC is basically just a Dota 2 machine. The day I figure out how to competitively play Dota 2 on Deck will be the day I ditch my PC.

I actually bought a new desktop since I got my LCD Deck … and then bought a new OLED Deck. I also have two laptops and a handful of old desktops that are set up for different uses. I may have a problem.

I also have PS5, PC and SD(used to have LCD now OLED). I never use my PS5 unless some excluaive like GOW or Spider-Man comes out, I use PC for only graphicly stunning games like Alan wake and 80% of the time I use SD. I moved my PC near my OLED TV to play Alan Wake.
