Thank you. This is actually one of the best points here for anyone who is frustrated with overwatch. I have actually done this and thats how i got to diamond after LITERALLY BEING HARDSTUCK IN SILVER for nearly 6 months on my main account. I made a new account and got easy diamond but now that this newer account has started to age i have plateau’d again (even though i dominate games in diamond and plat) and the thought of making another account just pisses me off. Like why should i have to do that to have my skill reflected? And thats partially why i feel like the game design is predatory

Those videos are of course pro players. I can do placements and reach diamond or maybe masters (which i have never reached) if i really tried but like i said i feel like i would need coaching or to play the game a very unreasonable amount to do so

Been playing baldurs gate lately. It feels good to have reasoning and tactics apply to my skill rather than such a focus on mechanics

I agree that my flaws hold me back. I just find that the game is way harder than it should be. You could be solo ulted by a junkrat or a sombra at pointblank and even if you ult tracked theres not always much you can realistically do. I feel like things like that massively degrade the overall experience and make learning and progressing far harder than they should be.
