down three points… we’re screwed.
down three points… we’re screwed.
Short of the sticks, sounds crushingly familiar to the Giants playoff game.
Gotta be frustrating for Bears fans, tbh. Statistically dominated along with two ints while we tripped all over ourselves looking like we’ve never played football before and the score is 3-3.
sounds like an awesome and memorable trip. I don’t have a lot of advice as I moved from Mpls before US Bank was built, but I hope you guys have a fantastic time.
Absolutely, IMO. I know his play calls can sometimes leave something to be desired, but he understands how to communicate to younger players and recognizes the importance of team culture. Through the wins and losses it’s evident how much he’s gotten the players to invest and care about one another and the overall goal, even if/when we fall short. He gets the psychology behind the game and knows how to keep players passionate and invested. His relative youth is a huge strength in making sure there’s not too much if a disconnect between players and coaches.
Detoilet! Keep up the bad work!
possibly, but it won’t change the respect I have for Dobbs coming in with no pre-season and no games on the bench to not only learn at a massively accelerated pace, but actually effectively execute our offense, while down the arguably best wide receiver in the NFL and the player our entire offense was designed around.
had a feeling Addison would be at or near the cream of the crop for the WR class. He’s the one I’d heard of for a couple of years while in college, both at Pitt and USC.
Sounds like the ideal Sean Payton type of guy. So frustrating when this stuff comes out a day later after it drastically alters a one point game’s outcome.
and this is why Sunday night games suck. Now most people have to go to bed pissed and work tomorrow.
Jared Goof throws 3 interceptions and the Bears can’t hold a lead with 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Either a thrown game or they truly know how to fuck up every opportunity possible.
this is going to be a really close game, both teams are on such a similar trajectory of salvaging a once hopeless season. The fact that Denver is at home and with an experienced QB, I give them the slight edge. If this were a home game in prime time, I’d sway to us. Hoping I’m wrong, though.
may the legend live another week!
Agreed, watching our defense give up constant pass completions that a high school quarterback could complete given the chicken-shit cushion coverage over the last few years was not only maddening, but also ate much of the clock only for the opponent to almost always score anyway. So thankful for an aggressive approach, even if it gets you burned every so often. It’s made a world of difference for this defense so far.
This is who every quarterback should aspire to be. Between the Netflix documentary, him starting to show his personality and embracing honesty and fun these last few years and the consistent testimony of how much his teammates love and appreciate him, he’s really endeared himself to our team and community. I wish these appreciation posts weee happening after a Super Bowl win instead of an injury, but I hope he sees and reads some of them.
Still awake from Saturday night, but here for this game! It’s going to tell us a lot… It may technically be the Lions year, but this is our biggest rival and we’re on the road. How they respond will likely determine our approach and trajectory for the rest of the season.
Feels like Chicago’s secondary is getting injured every other play tonight.
