You can do all this and not disrespect the coach that has led your team for over two decades.
There’s nothing to gain from firing Bill mid/late season.
Nothing we gain this year because it’s way loss and draft position matters most.
And it sends a bad message to future coaches about what kind of role and position you’re walking into, when the greatest coach in your franchise’s history/one of the best in the league is tossed out mid season like a bag of trash.
If he’s going to go, OK, it was a great run & everything ends eventually… but do it in the offseason, not like he’s some scrub who has done nothing for us.
