Steelers are 6-3 while the pats sit at 2-8, they are built almost identical, stout defense, with an offense that is terrible, so what’s the difference?

2 things:

  1. We are playing a much harder schedule, going into the season it was ranked the #1 most difficult schedule. It was going to be a tall task to make it into the playoffs, but I don’t think any of us expected this result.

  2. And it hurts to say, Ive supported Mac for the last 3 years, but if he played more like Kenney picket, ya KENNY PICKET, we would have likely won a couple more games. Picket has less than half as many ints as Jones does and that is the biggest problem. Jones is not only removing point potential from us, but is giving the other team more opportunities to score.

The Steelers also didn’t lose TJ Watt, Patrick Peterson, and Diontae Johnson, which is basically what we lost in Judon, Gonzalez and Bourne (not from a skill level, but Edge1, CB1, WR1). And yes, their schedule has been much easier.

Pickett also has Johnson and Pickens who are better than our WR options by a significant amount.

Pickett is not winning them games, but he’s not really losing them games either. Ride the defense, get your 17ish points and boom 6-3.

The schedule isn’t the reason lol. We got absolutely clapped by the saints and cowboys - sure the cowboys are good, but we lost in awful team fashion.

Barely beat the jets. Lost to the raiders. Lost to minshew colts.

For all their problems, the Steelers’ offensive weapons are vastly better than the Patriots – and that isn’t saying much.

Steelers still have offensive weapons better than ours, and their strong in the trenches. Pickett may suck, but he has time, and can get the ball to Pickens and Johnson. Better than we can do.

People really trying to take credit away from Brady? No defense was scared of Brown, Patten and Givens and he still made it work.

Pickett is not a legit QB. With far better weapons that what we have, he’s thrown 1600 yards and 6 TDs and 4 INTs this year. 81.1 passer rating.

He is not good. The Steelers are winning close games off the back of their defense, specifically TJ Watt, who is an absolutely gamewrecker and arguably the best player in the NFL.

SOS? The Pats would be still 2-8 if we had played the Cardinals 10 times.
