Harden didnt cost this team. The roster construction, coaching staff and ownership cost this team. Don’t try to pin this on one player. The fact of the matter is that Harden didn’t trade SGA and all their picks for PG. Harden didn’t destroy Kawhi’s knees. Harden didn’t hire Ty Lue as coach. Harden didn’t make Zubac the only available big man. Harden didn’t trade himself. Ya’ll trying to make Harden the scapegoat when there were clearly huge fundamental issues with the team before he even got there.
The Lakers lost on the road to a contending team. They had the score run up on them in the 4th quarter. Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey are light years ahead of our roster.
The Clippers lost at home to a G-league team coming off a back to back. The Clips had all their stars healthy and playing, they had a 10 point lead in the 4th and still lost. Stop comparing us to the Lakers. This loss is way worse.
So much doom and gloom. Russ always starts off the season slow. Just give him some time and he’ll carry us to the playoffs. Russ is the ultimate team leader.
If Kawhi stopped being a blackhole, this team might have a chance. Let Russ push the pace and take control of the offense.
Yeah he also takes way too long to setup and release his shot. The best shooting bigs shoot from a stationary position with an effortless release.
The real problem is he doesn’t have a face up game. He doesn’t create any separation when he has the ball and just settles for contested jumpers.
I feel like he could still be decent in the right system. Like I’d still take him over Gabe Vincent.
The Lakers will gladly take any of your big 3 off your hands
Chris Paul was an MVP candidate in his 3rd season. An argument could be made that he should have won. He continued to perform like a top 10 player for almost a decade but he never came close to winning MVP again.
We would have won if Russ was out there to close the game. He’s the only player that can get them easy looks.
Yeah okay! Im sure the Cavs would love to get significantly older for no reason.
