Same really old Lions
Same really old Lions
I answered Amon-Ra and I’ve been watching the Lions for 30 years.
I’d pick him based on his chemistry with Goff, his skill set as a possession receiver, and the fact that he’s 14 years younger and presumably more game ready than 38 year old Calvin Johnson
ARSB
Calvin was great, but he’s 38 and 8 years removed from the NFL.
The Bears had the ball for over 40 minutes and had great average field position because of the 4 turnovers.
This game wasn’t as close as it was because of the defense. Outside of the first drive, the defense was solid.
As someone who worked from home all summer…I get it. I love my kids, but some days are tough
As someone who played sports through college, after the game would be worse than before. Every time I pulled, strained, or tore something it was either because I tried to do something without stretching and warming up, or because my body was already exhausted and I tried to sprint or do too much late in a game (bad idea).
I live out of state now, and I’d probably pay $3-5,000 to see the Super Bowl in person, but it’s not realistic to find tickets, flight, and lodging for that price.
I’d much rather pay $2,000 to fly to Detroit and watch the game at Ford Field.
Our defense has allowed basically the same amount of points through 9 games as the Chiefs allowed last year through 9 games.
As long as we allow fewer than 24 against the Bears, we’ll have fewer points allowed than the Chiefs through 10 games.
It turned out OK for them.
And he’s played as many games as the 2 above him combined
He outplayed Herbert
The Super Bowl.
Because if we win the Super Bowl, none of the other games matter.
I think it’s more “our defense can’t stop anything tonight” and less “I don’t want Patterson kicking a 43 yarder”
Giving Herbert the ball down 3 against last night’s defense and 1:30 left to work with is significantly worse than not giving it back to him at all
The double-franchise tag almost always backfires. It’s a last resort and likely won’t come to that.
Because that’s how you signal to other players that you’re an organization that doesn’t value its players.
Double franchise tags are rare and create disgruntled players and others around the league see that.
This is his 4th year in the NFL
I had a Pistons shirt that said “back to back champions” from the mid 00s when they beat the Lakers then lost to the Spurs the following year in 7 games.
I always got some funny looks, but very few people caught it.
I just want to see analytics on how far the punt went and what kind of hang time it got.
Looked like a good punt.
