Oh bloody hell yeah! For some reason I always associate him with 2012 even though that’s wrong. Thanks for pointing that out! I’ll amend it now.

Oh wow, my bad! I’ve amended that for ya, thanks for pointing that out!
I actually just played Velkoz today on PBE so I have no idea how I somehow forgot Vel xd
I still often forget to or fuck up blocking a Caitlyn ult coming the way of my 100HP teammate.
That’s not so bad on it’s own but I’m a Caitlyn main. I should know better having been on all 3 ends of that scenario multiple times lol
Their “adaptive stats” are inconsistent. I managed to get 30 on a game on PBE. You know what I got?
15 AH. That’s it. The real benefit was the mild speed boost upon picking one up, that decays. It doesn’t even give AD/AP. 15 AH disproportionately benefits some champ types (Assassins, Mages, Ability ADCs, some Duelists) while being next to useless for others (certain Bruisers, Tanks, Auto-attack ADCs. Even Enchanters won’t notice a radical difference cause they’ll already be stacking loads.)
It’s basically a diet Bard chime MS bonus, that doesn’t even remain unlike Bard’s (although it does work in combat unlike Bard’s). If anything I feel like the fact that there’s zero map changes otherwise honestly makes it feel a bit lacking compared to other elemental drakes.
Alright. Let’s see you do better.
Remake Hwei’s kit entirely from scratch. All 10 abilities, all 9 combos plus his R. Make them all entirely original and in no way even part copied from anyone else’s kit. Make them in some way work with each other. 200 years is one thing but stuff that just straight up would be too broken is not allowed. His idea as a mage must be retained, no co-opting him into other champion classes. His own 10 here, even the supposed “only original” EE and R cannot be copied in any manner either.
Let’s see if you can make 10 original, balanceable (in some way shape or form) abilities completely separate and not even tangentially similar to any of the other roughly 650 abilities in the game. Go on. Do it.
As it’s an intended feature that she can turn into a raptor and mimic it’s stats as a means to keep the disguise more believable, it wouldn’t be considered bug abuse.
However. I do eventually see them changing it so that she can only mimic stats seen by the enemy when targeting her with the info panel on click, not her mimic the stats themselves. While that would probably be a nerf to her disguises, ain’t nobody paying attention to how often a chicken is attacking you.
They did have at one point what I called the “Blaft Pick” mode. You select your role a la Draft but there’s no bans and there’s mirror matchup potential like Blind. Something like that for this could help especially seeing as what they just removed was… Blind Pick, ironically.
It’s on PBE early (2 patches ahead not 1), they have the 60+ new augments and the multi-team queues to sort out and test. It’ll come out in around 3 weeks (this patch, 13.23, comes out next week then Arena will be out in 13.24).
13.24 is the last major patch of the year as Riot go on Christmas break after this and as such they’re probably looking to test Arena with it’s new features as much as possible to prevent major problems when 99.9% of the staff will be away for Christmas.
Definitely Kayle.
Her 2-5 is ass, easily the worst of any solo laner and amongst the worst in the game. Her Level 1 however, is extremely strong. The Darius matchup is a good example. If you take E level 1, and the Darius fights you, you can quite capably kill him unless he plays extremely well with his bleed stacks. From that point on till Level 11 though, it’s relatively even if not in Darius’ favour, then goes back to Kayle.
Now of course there’s some champs Kayle can just outright defeat regardless of level, such as Yorick and Gangplank, but many champions that on paper should make Kayle’s lane phase or even whole game hell can fall to her at level 1.
