If all the team optioned are picked up, team will have 11 players on the roster. The Spurs will have 4 draft picks next year (Hornet’s pick most likely won’t convert) but I expect them to consolidate 2 SRP into 1. So 3 young players to join the team next yr. That moves the roster to 14.

In term of FA, I think Brian Wright will start using the cap space to sign some vets to a multi-year contracts. Cedi Osman needs to perform better to earn another contract. Depending on who the Spurs pick from the draft, there are many quality FA they can pursue in 2024.

I don’t know which media you were listening/watching but every analyst I’ve seen put the Spurs at the bottom 3 in the West along with the Rockets and Blazers. Most of them think the Spurs will win in 28-30 range. Zach Lowe, the Spurs biggest believer in the media, wouldn’t even put the Spurs higher than 35-36 win.
