Family is life long fans, but Pops been tapped out of Spurs since the Kawhi debacle. We both loved #2 but that drama and our losses led to Pops tuning out. He heard about Wemby just now (old ppl get news late ok) and I’m so excited to see us play Tn with him.
It’s also extra special juice cuz Papa is ready to boo Kawhi the whole time. He saw Hakeem battle David , Dirk against Tim, and now he decided Kawhi v Wemby is how he wanna frame it.
Doesn’t matter that we’ll likely lose, we’re developing and we should enjoy what we can. Go Spurs Go!!

I have super fond memories of seeing the Spurs play the Jazz in the Dome and booing the crap out of Stockton and Malone with my dad, while my mom and sister were quietly ashamed.
