I like one that takes care of all the stuff I get mining. After a long trip in the mines I just dump my sulkers in it. Deep slate, cobble, ores, amethyst…anything that you pick up mining.

I have found it is faster to go mining/exploring for new ones than wait for these to grow.

Build a wall around the village. Or build a few dozen golums. Or use a different village.
