There’s an element of “innocent until proven guilty” right?
There’s an element of “innocent until proven guilty” right?
I think the quality of the majority of teams has improved this year for sure. We’ve got the big 6 who are all getting the required points so far (maybe not Chelsea but I do think they’ll get better). Then Brighton, Newcastle and Villa to throw in the mix too.
I also think West Hams start has gone a bit under the radar as well.
The bad teams are BAD this season (Burnley, Luton and sheffield) but the teams above them seem to have improved massively.
Also shoutout to Gary O’Neil at Wolves, I think he’s doing a superb job at Wolves.
I think it would in relation to dealing with officials. All the F1 expletives are between team members rather than to officials.
I’ve got no problem with players swearing at each other at all because like you said its more relatable and its real life.
Using F1 as an example if Toto started swearing at the race director after THE final race last season with the horrendous decision with the safety car I feel like he would be in trouble.
OP knows more than Ange Postecoglou apparently
I want to say Fulham against Palace? I cannot remember when it was or who in fact scored the goals, I just remember it having some absolute bangers. Someone scored a banging volley with a chest and then hit?
Fulham and Palace fans can you help me out please as I have no idea what game in particular this actually was.
Also… does it count if they’re from the same player? If so just look at Luis Suarez’s hattrick against Norwich
Today we had no centre backs, our whole starting midfield missing as well.
That aside we were the better team today but just didn’t finish our chances. Its a process under Ange.
If you watched the first half against villa and think that ange isn’t doing a good job and that ange ball isn’t good then you don’t understand football imo
I think we need transcripts of what a player says to officials to warrant a red or yellow card. It’ll be the only way players alter how they speak to refs as they will be concerned about their image and brand.
Just watch Vicario. He does both fantastically for spurs. Nick Pope is probably the only ‘traditional’ GK left in the top teams?
Newcastle aren’t a lesser team… they’re a better team. They’ve got a better squad that’s been moulded to what their manager wants and has been created to suit Eddie Howes style of play.
Villa aren’t a lesser team either for exactly the same reasons.
Villa and Newcastle are better teams and you could argue that West Ham and Brentford are level with Chelsea currently or only just slightly worse.
Pep and Klopp are both such strange people imo. Arteta is also very similar to Pep in mannerisms as well. They’re all odd people
One of the main arguments for keeping it is looking at the decisions given in the women’s game between Chelsea and Real Madrid. 2 horrendous decisions given that wouldn’t have happened if var was there.
Micky Van De Ven, Destiny Udogie and Vicario. I thought they’d be good but I didn’t think they’d be just as vital for spurs as they have been. I’m especially surprised by Vicario, he looked just okay against Brentford but since that he has looked like the best keeper in the league (yes I know people may point towards Allison who has played better)
He’s a referee not a premier league level midfielder, I’m also fairly sure he had his back to grealish’s run when he blew the whistle so he didn’t see it. I can understand why everyone is mad, I’d be fuming if that was against us of course but I can absolutely understand it.
For people saying city were robbed, they weren’t, there’s no guarantee grealish even goes on to score that. Robbed would be a clear penalty not being awarded or a goal not being awarded that should’ve stood. (Ie Liverpool were robbed of a goal against us yes).
Also. City’s full strength team (Apart from big Kev) couldn’t beat our second string side… city shouldn’t make excuses, with a player like haaland he should be bullying Davies and Royal all day long
