Bit of an overreaction.
Unplug it, Take it apart, remove the nails, put it together, try it out.
If they got to the point of turning it off, rather than it turning off on its own, it’s likely fine, and the smell could have been from a few different things. No indication that anything popped.
I may be misremembering and confusing it for a 2.5, but I really really feel like I’ve gotten one before.
Op is referring to boards with usb headers, rather than sata, I think.
I like the part where op calls teacher an apple fanboy for accurately touting one of its greatest strengths.
So, you spoke out of turn about something to somebody more knowledgeable, and you’re here to save face?
Only way out of this is to bring your teacher an apple with a rat sticker or something. Make it into a mutual joke so you’re not the butt of it.
Sure, they can be compromised, but your teacher is more/less correct on this one. You’d have to jailbreak and install something with a payload. I’m not even certain a 13 can do that. And if you get there, it’s firmly in use error territory that it gets pwned.
Higher Hz has lower penetration of obstructions. Even a piece of paper can have an effect on connection quality, though not much.
So, start with 6ghz, and if you experience slowdowns or disconnects when you move throughout the area, drop down to the default.
Fastest and most stable connection will be highly dependent on the layout of your home and location of clients, so you’ll have to finger it out with that in mind.
Might be a weird way of saying full duplex
