Damn, when I thought this car couldn’t get any cooler it proves me wrong.

Had a full tan loaner, good god that is blinding in the Southern California midday sun.
Autodimming mirror has a power source you can splice into without any cutting using the adapter cable.
Garmin Mini 2, hook it up to the mirror power supply with dongar cable and you’ll have zero cables and it’ll be invisible to you as well because it’s tiny.
Just Uber for 2 days. Drive ultra careful to tire store when new tires arrive or use free towing service if you have a newer car or aaa.
My Asus M16 is .78" thick and 4.6lbs. It’s power limited 4080 with some minimal tuning scores 17,163 on Timespy. I wish AMD GPU laptops were worth it just so there’s competition but I just don’t see the point of it when this monster 8.5lb laptop only gets 18,100 and will never be able to do DLSS3.

Fucking Porsche with the aluminum bolts which caused $16k engine out jobs on the pre-2019 Macan V6’s.
Now only a $4k job if you do bumper removal.
Kind of amusing because Dbrand is commercializing someone else’s design.
PDK in the 718 and 911 are surprisingly reliable and stout. Very rare they’ll need a rebuild ever if not abused.
The Audi dct in the Macan OTOH…
Little bro knows nothing about Porsche. 997 was a monumental upgrade in interior design and especially materials. The overall mechanical quality also improved in a big way.
Timing cover, transfer case, PDK service. If those have been, it’s incredible value. Otherwise, your wallet will be … unhappy… it can cost a whole extra Macan S if they haven’t been addressed.
They don’t give a fuck because those people are more brainwashed than r/politics
I wonder if these Chinese makers will be the Anker and Eufy of the car world.
For Porsche at least, you can find some knowledge being dropped by boomers+ on the car forums like Macanforum and 718forum… lots of DIY and specs.
It seems like a big number the car forums have all consolidated around a single platform though. And it’s kind of a usability mess on the home page, I can’t fucking deal with it and they have way way too many subforums which kill discussion and seem like ghost towns.
Completely different engine in the US at least. It’s a Porsche designed V6 pre-2019 that is rev happy, has a great noise with sport exhaust, and has the timing cover oil leak issue. Expensive fix to get done correctly.
2019+ used an Audi derived S4 engine that is a bit less character but can be chipped for some bigger power numbers. I believe these don’t have major issues. This gen also has the big screen infotainment.
PPF with 49k miles already on it is an interesting choice. Was PDK service and spark plugs done recently? Those are some pricey services on a mid engine car.
Personally, I would drop 10-15k more for a CPO GTS.
Everything I read says to vary RPMs and do not exceed 4k RPM whenever possible for the first 2k miles.
I think the Porsche manuals actually repeat this information for most of their cars.
I don’t understand any of this premise. You can buy hundreds of Porsches for sale across the price spectrum new or used.
