honestly i just want beta 1.7.3 back officially but with period correct mod-like features, that’s what i want out of minecraft, and it’s pretty much all i play ;w;

i think they would have names kinda like “barbarians”/tribal people, so IE some Native American tribes would have like “walks-with-deer”, so a pigeon variety would be that of “treads-with-striders”, at least if memory holds up correctly and i’m not remembering a select few warchiefs. outside of that, Germanic barbarian, Scandinavian pagan, Celtic, etc, style names with titling is what i’d imagine of their society!

for actual name, i’d assume it’d be related to the nether rather than pigs, maybe some self reference mixed in with nether stuff. so, one could be “bluelog” or “blackbrick”, maybe something like “laverta” (fake piglin name similar to lava”, possibly “swineblood”?
