Sometimes it feels like we try to rotate the ball way too much. This is not the team we had in 2013/2014. I may even rather to have Devin or Wemby having contested shot at this point instead of non sense back door cuts or pick and rolls.
Zach has literally zero defensive impact on bigger guys
I mean yeah Victor’s shot selection has been horrible this season but we pass him when we shouldn’t and we don’t pass him when we should. The guy obviously is not ready for isolation plays.
Well yeah I’m gonna get downvoted again but these dudes are the ones we don’t want around Wemby in 3-4 years or we’re gonna all watch a generational talent moving to a bigger market team lol
Well player development is nice but some things are not difficult to see. Entire core except Wemby and Devin have reached to their peak. This what we get most from guys like Keldon, Tre, Zach and Malaki. I know Spurs fans are emotional and like guys like Keldon but it’s time to stop being emotional and make a move. I mean yeah Pop is stubborn af but I don’t see this as a coaching problem. It’s obvious that we’ll be at the bottom this and next year and those guys won’t develop further. A trade is a necessity at this point. Get a ball handler or picks and even trade Zach and get a real rim protector. We don’t need offense from post up. It’s 2023.
I don’t why we just can’t even play basic pick and roll. Our rollers don’t roll and ball handlers have no idea about how to leverage a screen
Wemby needs to bulk up just a little bit for better pick and roll plays and lazy passes.
Lol it hurts to see Wemby’s hand up all the time calling for the pass
Sometimes it feels like we have two different teams on the floor. Wemby and the rest. They literally missed him wide open back to back in the same possession.
We have to do something about our rim protection.
It’s incredible that there are people in this sub saying Devin is exactly the same compared to last year. He’s obviously doing everything better and added more offense in his arsenal.
