Coaches don’t call check downs. KS is saying the correct read was a check down based on the defensive coverage. Purdy went for the aggressive throw into the defense. What play calls would you have liked to see in the 4th up 2 scores? Should he have aired it out and been more aggressive? What happens if that aggression leads to a turnover? Would you then say he should have ran the ball more? We won the game and if it had been a one score game I bet the play calling would have been more aggressive.
