Both can be done this offseason. We got a decent amount of draft picks AND cap space.

JTWashBtoHouston Texans@nfl.community•C.J. having to clutch the shit out throws far too often and also often having to dance around forever in the pocket until someone gets open is why I want a round 1 WR.English1·2 years agoThis is a WR deep draft. We still need a WR1. We can absolutely figure out the defense with later picks + $80 million in cap space. The WRs in FA are cool but most of them are older and we’ll be back looking for another one in a couple years. We’ll do better just drafting a really good one and locking him up the next 8-10 years.
Because y’all won’t accept the fact that CJ is doing more for these receivers than they’re doing for him. That problem will eventually bite us in the ass in a playoff setting against a team like Buffalo or Kansas City that has multiple good DBs. Philadelphia has built a very strong team on both sides of the ball and they weren’t content with just having DeVonta Smith. Same thing with their RB room and DB room. They could’ve easily kept Miles Sanders or left Kevin Byard in Tennessee. Y’all gotta think bigger.
