Hang in there, brother I was laid off for over a year and just started working again. But it ended up being a much better job with much better pay.
I’m going to that game with my son so I actually hope it does get flexed.
Made the mistake of clicking on a thread from the 49ers sub when it came up in my feed about Travis Kelce. Was a bunch of idiots gloating about how he’s fallen off and now Kittle will be universally recognized as the best TE in the game. Why? Not because Kittle has better stats, but because he just “does everything better”.
Jesus Christ I’m glad posts like this exist just to make me realize how mature I am compared to the rest of some people in this fan base.
Yeah let’s fire the GM who has led us to 3 super bowls and 5 straight AFCCG’s because he had the audacity to overvalue Mahomes and Reid’s ability to make something out of nothing.
That would be true if he only played at DT.
I’m not saying CJ isn’t a spectacular player but the defense has been the best in the Mahomes era without him playing at an all pro level
CJ sat out like he was a DPOY. 14 sacks on the year is well below what he’s asking for.
The way I look at it is we have 2 more years with this defense playing at this level before it’s time to pay the piper. Losing CJ in the off season will suck but other than last game he hasn’t played that great this year and the talent we have on the DL won’t drop off enough for him leaving to drop them too much.
Next draft and off season we can focus on pass catchers and if this defense doesn’t drop off the next few years and we draft a great WR or sign a good one in free agency we’ll be the best team the chiefs have ever had

Jesus, I get disagreeing with the OP, I don’t agree with it, but does every comment have to be so toxic? This sub really feels like it’s overloaded with band wagon fans sometimes.
Since they banned third-party apps, Reddit has been a shit hole. I hate the fucking Reddit app. Guess what just because I show an interest in the Beatles doesn’t mean I want to see posts from the sub about puddle of mud. I don’t even know how that’s related. And just because I like the Chiefs doesn’t mean that I want to see posts from the Bears sub. I love this sub and this community and I’m not leaving anytime soon but I fucking hate Reddit.

Has there ever been a situation where one fanbase didn’t just root for but actively loved another player as much as Chiefs fans love Jason Kelce?
I obviously always want The Chiefs to beat whoever they are playing but whenever we beat The Eagles (I’m including the pre podcast games) it always seems a little bittersweet.
