It’s mostly those edgy European fans who hate Faker and want to be contrarian by saying Rookie is the GOAT when they don’t even watch his games.

Gumayusi is arguably the most consistent/reliable ADC in the last 2 years. He’s the type of ADC T1 needs for playmakers like Keria and Faker who constantly roam the map. While he doesn’t have the highs of players like Ruler, he can definitely match those players and may even outperform them on a good day. Sort of like Bang from 2015-2017 which allowed SKT to win so much titles except Guma is much more mechanically gifted. The only player that I can argue to be really as reliable/consistent as him would be Viper except Viper’s teammates are ass this season.

Kingen Canyon Showmaker Viper Delight

While Chovy is a much better player than Showmaker, I find the mid-jungle synergy that won DK Worlds to be much more valuable than Chovy’s lane dominance. We know how good Viper is and Delight was the most consistent support this year. I only had a hard time picking between Kingen and Kiin but due to Kiin’s tendency to choke, I opted for Kingen instead.

But “Showmaker Playmaking Maker” hits different.

Chovy and Lehends have won LCK titles so I think the choking narrative against them should be diminished. Kiin, on the other hand, is the only player who hasn’t won anything so the choking narrative is still very applicable to him.

While people have concerns with the mid-jungle synergy I think they will do just fine. Chovy has matured into a better player than just being a laning god and Canyon will still turn up at big moments. My only concern is Kiin due to his tendency to choke but other than that, I can see them win titles.

I think him being the head coach of the Asian Games played a huge role in bringing him back to T1. He must’ve had a good relationship with Keria and Zeus along with Faker being there as well during their time together.
