Problem is that neither Continental nor Michelin seem to have matching 235 and 295s with the same profile right now (there are some old Michelins available, but nothing with DOT from the last three years), and I would not want to mix and match with brand new tires.

Otherwise I would absolutely prefer those, but I fear that I’ll have to make the best with the options that are available, of which the Hankook seemed to be the best.

But when you start calling people stupid for choosing Ceramic Brakes and Center Lock rims then you are just being a hypocrite and an ass.

If anyone actually is that rude about it they are obviously wrong, but simply stating your opinion on these options is normal in a public forum.

OEM, mine were like this as well when I bought my car used. Got a set of black ones in Jan 2019, those are not as bad from what I can tell, they barely changed at all.
