  • Just looked this guy up because I hadn’t heard of him before, but holy those are insane stats. I get it’s the CFL and not the NFL but still those numbers are crazy. Last year’s stat total: 3349 yards, roughly 79% completion percentage (I rounded up), 25 tds, and only 10 picks. Plus he’s only being paid 750,000. Why the hell not bro, if he sucks so what he’s being paid nothing, if he’s great then we have a young building block at QB.

  • I think this is a loaded QB draft this year so I definitely think we can pick up some talent there. Not getting the ball to our weapons is the biggest flaw this offense has had all year in my opinion. I don’t know if it’s Geno or Waldron, or both, but the ball seems to exclusively get thrown to DK. Which don’t get me wrong DK is great but you can’t succeed when you’re just throwing to one guy. I think both Fant and Dissly have looked great and they definitely need more looks. The fact that we went from an offense under Wilson that just ran the ball way too much and never let Wilson do anything, to an offense that now feels like it barely runs the ball and just lets Geno chuck the ball up feels so strange to me. Both Charbs and K9 have looked good this year, I just don’t get why it seems like we refuse to let them do anything. But I think a lot of the problems I mention are fixed by us firing Waldron and replacing Geno.

I think Woolen’s regression has been mostly because of that knee injury he sustained. It just seems like he’s playing scared, but I have hope that getting benched will make him hungry for an opportunity he can get and have him back to playing like old Woolen. The lack of discipline one both sides of the ball has been so upsetting to watch, prime example is Forsythe flipping Kinlaw for seemingly no reason and then smiling about it. In addition to it being a deep QB draft I also think this is a pretty good pas rusher draft as well, so hopefully we might be able to pick someone up there too.

Not playing Devin Bush is astounding to me. Like sure he wasn’t great on the Steelers, but he’s only 25 there is no reason to seemingly give up on him immediately, especially since he’s on a one year deal. The one-year deal makes it so easy to just give him a chance and if he doesn’t work out, just drop him.

  • Sorry I should have been more specific. When I say get our offense fixed I don’t mean just this year. I think replacing Geno, who love the guy but he hasn’t played that well this season, and firing Waldron fixes a lot of problems from the jump. Then we sure up the o-line. The skill positions are there, we just need to fix the aforementioned problems, and I believe we have a fixed offense.

I do fully believe we have a championship level defense, but our offense sucked this game. A defense can’t really do much when they constantly have to be on the field because the offense keeps going 3 and out.

Bobby has definitely looked slower, but that’s why I think Brooks and him have been a good tandem this year. I feel Brooks more than picks up Bobby’s slack, and Bobby has been an invaluable mentor to Brooks this year. I also believe Bobby wasn’t signed to be a fast player. He was signed because he adds great leadership, and sure tackling to a defense that needs that.

Sonics. I’m not a Mariners fan, so I don’t really care if they get a World Series. The Seahawks have a super bright future and I guarantee they’ll win a 2nd Super Bowl without my intervention. Seattle deserves to have the basketball team that never should have left restored to its rightful place
