TST podcast is basically all I’ve listened in my home gym for the last three years. The crew shows with Matt & Zach are my favorites but Doug/Cammisa are my favorite guests. I find the Lieberman episodes to be the absolute worst.

Anxiously awaiting both of the Goosemen to be on together one day.

The newer trucks have DFM which can disable individual cylinders depending on load where the old AFM system just shuts down four at a time.

Honestly all of the modern V8s and boosted 6 cylinders are more than powerful enough for a half ton. Just get whichever you like the best they’ll all do the job fine.

  • Mine was a Corvette. I bought a C7 two years ago. It turned out I didn’t really enjoy daily driving that type of car and also Just didn’t enjoy it as much as I though I would. So I sold it. I’m thankful to have owned a Corvette though.

Right now it’s a 718 GTS 4.0. Although I’ll probably settle for an SS 1LE unless my wife or I gets a major increase in pay.

  • I like a large, responsive touchscreen. I much prefer the 12 inch in my truck over the 8 inch in my Forester. Although the 8 inch was much better than that godawful screen in the Outback.

Other than that, wireless CarPlay, adaptive cruise, physical climate/seat heater controls, a competent stereo and a well sorted automatic if I can’t have a manual. Rev matching if it’s a manual.

Other tech I’ve seen hasn’t wowed me enough to want to pay extra for it. I appreciate the automatic high beams and wipers, but if I could’ve deleted them and saved a few hundred bucks I would have.

I had a few manual cars with electronic parking brakes. I actually prefer it over the levers. I can’t understand why people like them.
