Since he already had two concussions in his young career, he is one dirty hit away from a premature end of his NFL career.
And that’s a shame.

The way the Chiefs are playing this season, the game against the Patriots will be their “get right game”.
We used to have those, now we are on the opposite side and the humble pie tastes bitter!
There are enough games left in the season. Split the games between the prospective QBs (but who aside from Mac and Zappe is left?) and give each entire game including the entire week’s worth of starter prep in practice.
Switching QBs each quarter will mean that they’ll have to split the reps in the week leading up to the game and that will do nobody any good.
Not all the blame, just about 80%.
Belichick and the receivers can’t be blamed for delay of game penalties, pres snap errors, bad decision making, errant throws, Mac not seeing open receivers, Mac not comprehending what the opposing D# is going to do, Mac panicking and either taking ill timed sacks or throwing the damn ball directly to the other team.
Brady even in his rookie season wouldn’t have caused so many delay of game penalties.
Brad’s mechanics were never as messed up as Mac’s.
Compared to Brady, Mac has a noodle for an arm.
And in some of his seasons (especially before 2007), Brady had lesser talent at WR and TE than Mac has at his disposal.
Mac takes forever to read the field and make a decision. Not even the best O-Line in the world can block that long on every passing down.
Compared to Brady’s football IQ and decision making ability, Mac is more special needs education than ivy league.
Nobody expects Mac to be the second coming of TB12. BUT what we could have expected, was that he plays like the friggin 1st round draft pick he is! And that means at a minimum being among the best 10-12 starting QBs in the league year and year out.
Instead Mac has progressively gotten worse every year, starting at about the 3/4 mark of his rookie season, when he hit the proverbial rookie wall.
Be honest, would you have expected he could be worse this year than he was last year?
Last year he had the excuse of having an OC who didn’t know what he was doing.
But this year he has an OC who has proven that he can coach Offense at the highest level and still, Mac sucks harder than ever!
Why? Zappe just proved my point. He can throw INTs just as good as Mac.
What he has done today up until the INT looked way better and was more entertaining than Mac has shown us in the last half dozen games!
Mr Mac bad decisions Jones
Mr Magoo Jones (for his bad vision of what’s going on in front of him on the field)
Mr poopy pants Jones
OK, mission accomplished. Mac has effectively thrown away the game. Barkley will be able to score from where they are now.
Time to bench Mac!
I’d be more concerned to lose data that is stored in the cloud than on my private network.
The adage “there is no cloud, it’s just someone else’s computer” is still true.
If you are afraid to lose the data on your clients and servers in your private network, improve your backup strategy and make sure to have one backup off premise (in a safe deposit box if needs be).
It doesn’t hurt to improve overall security on your private network, either. 😉

Not sole, but biggest. WRs/TEs we got from other teams suddenly stopped producing. WRs/TEs we got rid of are producing at other teams.
Mac is a subpar QB and somehow the Patriots brain trust has forgotten how to develop WRs/TEs…
Yeah, other struggling teams are using the Patriots as get right games these days. 😭
He seems to be a nice guy and maybe even grade a son-in-law material, but I don’t want him anywhere near the Patriots anymore!
I’ve been a Patriots fan for 25 years now (almost all my adult life) and it pains me to see them loose, but it’s better for them to give up on the 2023 season, treat the remaining games as additional pre-season games for 2024 (to evaluate rookies and 2nd year players) and concentrate on finding the answer in the draft and free agency.
A 7-10 season would do nothing for the Patriots in the short term and it would all but guarantee that the turnaround is going to slip another year into the future.
People seem to have forgotten that this is the 4th bad season in a row and every one of them has been worse than the one before!
Morale is already lost and the coaches have been tuned out.
In Frankfurt you could see that they are a broken team expecting to loose even during warmup! They know the season is over and many of them aren’t going to be on the team next season.
This game is just as winnable as the Indy game was only for the Patriots to score 6 frigging points!
If I had anything to say in Gillette Stadium, I’d bench every veteran with trade value (and trade them in the off-season) and play all the rookies and 2nd year players to see if any of them has the potential to be part of the solution for 2024 and beyond.
In your dreams 🤣
No, he didn’t know what he was doing and thanks to him, it took another year to truly realise that Mac isn’t the answer.
