The clock has struck midnight and last year’s Patricia Pitchfork Pals have turned promptly into Bill Belichick Bouncers. I haven’t seen a single post with that same old Matty P vitriol for Bill O’Brien. To the folks posting all offseason about how Patricia should be keelhauled, how do you feel about Bill O’Brien?
Has anyone changed their mind on Patricia?
Genuinely interested to see if this year’s perspective has softened anyone’s feelings on his contributions to the pats over the years. FTJ
No, he didn’t know what he was doing and thanks to him, it took another year to truly realise that Mac isn’t the answer.
Is this a joke? Because no. Matt P was not capable of being an OC. And Joe Judge had no business being a QB coach. I’d even argue that Billy O could have come in here and been the greatest offensive mind ever and it wouldn’t have mattered because the damage was done.
By those two chucklefucks.
The damage caused by his stint as OC is still being seen and felt. That decision helped ruin Mac and set the offense back a few years.
I thought that once he was replaced, things would improve, but as we have seen the hangover effect has lasted.
Maybe next year things will look a little better, but it’s going to take a lot of fixing both in personnel and scheme.
I totally get what you’re saying but as you can see, this sub is too far gone
A lot of the issues with Mac are directly connected to the awful coaching last year. Patricia ruined his confidence.
