  • A lot of people in this sub are also that into fantasy football. It hurts when you have a passion for something and it doesn’t work out. You just need to let some of the pressure off. Is your league a big money league and that’s why you’re so invested or is it a for fun league with friends maybe giving you all that pressure. If it’s too much to handle, nobody will shame you for walking away and if they do they can go eat a dick.

I’m actually undefeated in my league this year and it’s been the most stressful fantasy year for me ever. At first it was fun but now it’s all about keeping the streak alive and every decision has a ton of pressure. So there’s even downsides to winning if you let it overtake you. My advice would be to maybe call it quits this year or set up your lineups way ahead like on Tuesdays and then don’t check your fantasy team till after the Monday game so it doesn’t weigh on your viewing enjoyment. Sounds tough but it’s something you’ll have to work on. This is similar to a gambling addiction or addiction to video games or anything else. When it gets to an unhealthy point you need to step away and reevaluate if it’s for you and how you can moderate it.

  • I’m 10-0 in my main league and I’m actually the champion from the previous year. We’re a 10 man league and recently 2 of the guys quit and had to be put on auto and the auto is doing better than they were so that’s been funny and a pain to go against lol.

I by far have scored the most points though. We all have a pretty close points against except for one unlucky guy. My first 3 picks were solid and have done me well. I got CMC first of course at 1.4 and then I got AJB and Hurts in the 3rd. I tried for Puka but I had the last waiver wire so I didn’t get him. In the second week I picked up LaPorta off of waivers but already had Engram who was just very consistent. In fact consistency been my key I guess from my guys. Very lucky with injuries with only losing Big Mike Williams this year and it was after he put up 30 in a game. Pacheco in the 9th was a valuable pick. So some injury luck and a solid draft. I also have DJ Moore, Pittman Jr, and Rhamondre.

Just to say I’m trying my best every week to keep it going now and it’s been stressful lol. I’ve almost started my best lineup every week though since that’s very important in my league cause trades never happen or get vetoed. Waivers are dry from everyone being competitive. Starting my best lineup is the most power I have at this point.
