Oklahoma City Thunder@nba.space•Really impressed that the players didn't lose hope at the end unlike most of the fan baseEnglish
1·2 years agoExactly.
This “fight to the end” mentality has been one of the best characteristics of this team’s last couple of years.
We scrapped our way to competitiveness and punched above our weight class with regularity. We’ve had sooo many close games against teams that we were supposed to be outclassed by…and instead took them to the wire. We now have tons of talent and a complete team to add to that.
We are gonna see some crazy competitive games this year.

Oklahoma City Thunder@nba.space•Except for the Slam 5, which Thunder player will most positively impact winning this year?English
1·2 years agoDefinitely guesses on my part… but I think he:
- Fits in the high BBIQ / quick processing mold of our players.
- Has shown great pick and roll ability in his previous league experience and we have a lot of pick and roll plus cutters in our playmaking and he would do well with facilitating that style.
- He was able to create his own shots well and will probably be good at that once the NBA speed slows down and he is confident getting to his spots.
- Our early SGA + Giddey 1st team issues are essentially gone so he is a great 2nd team leader and facilitator especially given our 2nd team’s youth.
- He was a hell of a Euro player that was going to age out of his NBA window and even if he does not work this year I am sure Presti will turn him into more picks/trade leverage than our other options.

1·2 years agoAgree with Wallace / Micic call outs…
Going against the grain… if Kenrich is healthy his impact in tough and grinding situations is immense.
Doesn’t show up as much in the stats but it does in those really tight physical games that we scrap our way to close wins.

Yeah was tough to watch. I may have called him an “effing traffic cone”.
