  • We don’t just give them free reign, for the most part the world promotes being selfish.

Damn near everything we ever hear takes no one else into account. Living wage is less and less common, billionaires have all the money in the world and zero accountability, healthcare (Mostly US specific) is an overpriced scam with no guardrails, food costs whatever the fuck the people who control it tell us it costs regardless of production costs, housing costs way too fucking much, fake news is more and more prevalent and conning more and more fools.

Its easy to see why people focus on no one but themselves anymore, its just the way of the world, toxicity is winning.

The only assumption needed to solve the problem is that the bottom line is indeed straight. Generally it will never be assumed in these types of learning practices that a straight line is a lie, because at that point you can never do a single problem ever. However an undefined angle can be cheesed.

Though it still bugs me on a fundamental level they will cheese the angle to bait a person into a wrong answer, it can teach a valuable lesson about verifying information.

We can solve this issue of a straight line being guaranteed by doing this. This actually is probably a really good practice considering the exacting nature of certain disabilities such as ADHD and Autism. However if you live in the US you need to just accept things like this because we will NEVER fund public education properly let alone consider accessibility beyond things mandated by the ADA

  • Yeah as others have mentioned, this is a surefire way to find corruption in new an exciting ways.

    How do you determine IQ?

No matter how you answer this question you open yourself up to different methods of corruption, as well as coincidental prejudice.

Is your test based on things only taught in college? Boom! now poor people cant vote.

Is your test based on common knowledge about the world? Boom, people outside of your bubble cant vote.

Also who runs the tests? Who oversees the questions asked? How do you make testing accessible for people with physical impairments? How do you ensure a proper testing environment? Each and every step has a way to inject corruption, and the kind of corruption that grows, since once you start limiting the voting pool u can limit it in a way that allows your brand of corruption to grow.

    Its unfortunately not feasible.

  • There’s intelligent Republican debaters who can’t be baited out there

This is true, but I’ve seen Vance speak, he has zero charisma. I feel like you need some amount of charisma to be a bullshit artist and have people not see straight through you. I mean people with any semblance of intelligence will see through you no matter what, but votes aren’t weighted on intelligence.

  • I started small, I’d just make better decisions here and there, choose the healthier of two options, not eating the chips. Then I would make more healthier decisions, I should go on a walk, I’m gonna lift some weights. What ends up happening is once you get used to the easier decisions I would feel like I could/should be doing more. Eventually I’m dieting and exercising regularly and didn’t even make any hard choices, just easy and small incremental choices.
