maybe they’re saying it’s crazy that he’s so good at such a young age in a position that doesn’t often contribute at a high level early in the nba. maybe you shouldn’t take it so negatively. no one expects a rookie center taken 12th overall to completely reverse many of the weaknesses on a very flawed team
yeah i’m only upset because it felt so winnable. i’m surprisingly very encouraged by how they competed
it should’ve never gotten to the point where those shots even mattered. they were on the line every possession down the stretch and we still pulled close until the connaughton three. they were getting momentum calls where every 50/50 play or contact went their way and it very obviously decided the game
if you want mavs coverage there are plenty of platforms to find it. why would you care what people who don’t watch the team and are paid entirely to be inflammatory and controversial have to say?
you can work around salary with other expendables though

couldn’t agree more. i could see it varying based on who the mavs target and what teams they’re negotiating with. if it’s a lottery team than Hardy would be more appealing and vise versa. depends on who’s available imo

i think people’s expectations of him are far too high. he needs to improve on defense, mainly not getting obliterated by screens, and keep knocking down open threes and attack hard close outs. his dribble could really use improvement too, but i don’t think he’s a bad player at all. it’s exhausting watching people scapegoat him when not having an alternative to Powell is the main issue with the team. if anything, Kyrie and Grant need to perform better
