My parents still use a decade old 4k LCD TV they paid 2K for. People, even rich people don’t change out TVs as much as you think. Most rich people are going to be older and simply don’t want to deal with swapping out TVs as long as they still work. A guy I know just renovated his summer house with 5 brand new 70" and up LG C3’s. They are replacing Samsungs from 2013…

Hilarious how one of the few claimed selling points Gordon Murray mentioned was how it fixes the F1’s problems, specifically poor AC, yet Top Gear explicitly calls out how the AC is still unable to keep up in hot weather. How abysmal was the F1’s AC if Murray considers this fixed? lol
Yeah, but the amazing manual is what makes the si fun. Same thing with the GTI. I’m pretty sure this isn’t going to come with a manual, so if it’s only as fast as an si I think it would be disappointing.

For one year only in 1972 Porsche moved the oil tank forward to under the right rear fender to try and improve the rear engine handling characteristics. When they did this they added a oil filler door above the tank on the rear fender. Problem was this looked just like a gas tank which caused quite a few people to add gas to their oil tank and destroy their engine so for 1973 Porsche moved the oil tank back. A few years later they tried again and moved the oil tank back to under the fender but smartly they added a long tube to the tank from the oil filler cap in the rear so it wouldn’t be mistaken any more.
This feels like watching overly competitive guys at the Y. Just super sloppy and ugly basketball.
