  • Having Ant out means the double team comes for KAT. We can’t rely only on KAT to carry us. Like Mike said, there are 20 something shots that have to be made up without Ant.

I want to see Mike, Naz, and TBJ taking a lot of those Ant shots and KAT when he can.

I’m glad the next couple games are very winnable against Utah and Charlotte, but we can’t write fill those in as sure wins especially with 2 of our 5 starters out.

If I’m a betting guy I would still probably bet 2-0, but I think 1-1 is very possible too. We just can’t lose to Charlotte with no Lamelo

  • I watched a lot of Kevin Martin as a Wolves fan and I’d definitely take FVV.

Kevin was a terrific spot up 3 point shooter. Outside of that he wasn’t a playmaker, couldn’t create his own shot, couldn’t rebound, and most importantly… did not play a lick of defense.

FVV may not be as pure of a shooter, but he does all those other things better. KMart was great if you need a 3, but championship teams do not have turnstile defenders on them. If they do, then those guys are elite in all other areas of the game and not just 1

  • Books that write battles or fight scenes well. Often times those can be the most arduous parts to slog through even though they’re supposed to be climactic. Each battle is its own story within the greater story, and when there is a variety of scenarios that properly utilize the skills of the characters with no deus ex then that’s very satisfying to me.

I loved Ender’s Game for that reason. Not only does it have interesting world building with a simulated battle experience that anyone could write about, but you watch how Ender takes lessons, applies them to a variety of battles, and you never know how the next one is going to go.

  • I feel like this is a very one-sided propaganda piece meant to push the narrative that the new owners will be good.

That being said, I love every part that was mentioned.

    • Privately fund new stadium is huge. I hate watching the public subsidize a new stadium for billionaires and I love that the group wants to do it all with private funds.

    • Love hearing that it’s affordable and not going to fall through. We know that Glen has pulled the rug out of deals a few times, but this seems as good as done. For as bad of an owner as he is, I’ll forever be grateful that Glen was committed to selling to a group that keeps the Wolves here.

    • We need a real broadcasting option. Bally has been absolutely abysmal. If they commit to making games more accessible, it will improve our viewing experience, bring in more fans, and make everything more profitable.
