/u/rswany You got some prime material here for another win or two
Jim stepping up to say “This team can win an NBA championship” had the same vibes as getting the courage to say “I love you” to your girlfriend for the first time.
That’s exactly what we wanted to see from the jump. Suffocating defense, hitting our shots, sharing the ball.
Everything’s coming up Milhouse
That was hilarious, thanks for sharing!
I watched a lot of Kevin Martin as a Wolves fan and I’d definitely take FVV.
Kevin was a terrific spot up 3 point shooter. Outside of that he wasn’t a playmaker, couldn’t create his own shot, couldn’t rebound, and most importantly… did not play a lick of defense.
FVV may not be as pure of a shooter, but he does all those other things better. KMart was great if you need a 3, but championship teams do not have turnstile defenders on them. If they do, then those guys are elite in all other areas of the game and not just 1
Dude, this was my play of the game. Watching KAT bang againsta big dude like Randle and not let him bully his way in while also not fouling mn g was masterful. He really is 2way Towns this year.
The real test is going to be Wednesday where the same clean type of defense on Embiid will draw Karl 3 fouls in one play.
Dude needs to shave his head so bad. His combover is on an island in a sea of bald.
With no TP anymore, we are going to need someone else to step up in his absence against the Knicks.
NAW going for 35
I have PTSD from that logo.
If we are gonna do one like that then do the older one from the KG times. The letters were edgier which looked cooler
If I bet with my heart… I’m betting Wolves
If I bet with my head… I’m still betting Wolves
Books that write battles or fight scenes well. Often times those can be the most arduous parts to slog through even though they’re supposed to be climactic. Each battle is its own story within the greater story, and when there is a variety of scenarios that properly utilize the skills of the characters with no deus ex then that’s very satisfying to me.
I loved Ender’s Game for that reason. Not only does it have interesting world building with a simulated battle experience that anyone could write about, but you watch how Ender takes lessons, applies them to a variety of battles, and you never know how the next one is going to go.
Naz Reid
Let’s turn these punks into Smoothie bitches
I feel like this is a very one-sided propaganda piece meant to push the narrative that the new owners will be good.
That being said, I love every part that was mentioned.
Privately fund new stadium is huge. I hate watching the public subsidize a new stadium for billionaires and I love that the group wants to do it all with private funds.
Love hearing that it’s affordable and not going to fall through. We know that Glen has pulled the rug out of deals a few times, but this seems as good as done. For as bad of an owner as he is, I’ll forever be grateful that Glen was committed to selling to a group that keeps the Wolves here.
We need a real broadcasting option. Bally has been absolutely abysmal. If they commit to making games more accessible, it will improve our viewing experience, bring in more fans, and make everything more profitable.
You have to be more specific. Black Jesus for White Jesus
I was floored by his attack on Jordan Poole. I’ve chalked most stuff up to “antics” or “defending his teammate” but watching him antagonize and then unload on a teammate in practice is inexcusable.
In the real world the dude would have wracked up several assault charges but in the NBA he’s free to be a danger to everyone around him (teammate or not).
They’re funny. Don’t look to them for insightful analysis. Just watch “Who he play for” or laugh at Chuck and Shaq bantering with each other.
Having Ant out means the double team comes for KAT. We can’t rely only on KAT to carry us. Like Mike said, there are 20 something shots that have to be made up without Ant.
I want to see Mike, Naz, and TBJ taking a lot of those Ant shots and KAT when he can.
I’m glad the next couple games are very winnable against Utah and Charlotte, but we can’t write fill those in as sure wins especially with 2 of our 5 starters out.
If I’m a betting guy I would still probably bet 2-0, but I think 1-1 is very possible too. We just can’t lose to Charlotte with no Lamelo
