Did you notice any performance gains? I just recently switched from Nobara to Endeavour and absolutely fell in love with it. However, so far I was too afraid to click Zen Kernel in the Kernel Tool :D
That issue started to kick in after having installed the latest beta drivers. I have found that X11 needs to run in root mode in order to allow overclocking:
Adding needs_root_rights = yes to /etc/X11/Xwrapper.config is neccessary to restore OC capabilities.
4090 in a blink of an eye! Not because I think the XTX is a bad GPU, it is just that Ray-Tracing is the future and makes such a difference in Cyberpunk, Alan Wake 2 and others. And let’s face it, the XTX is a very good raster GPU, but when it comes to RT it just cannot even compete with the mid-level RTX40 cards such as my 4070-ti. It runs circles in those games around any XTX.
Another step proving that Linux is becoming more and more relevant for the gaming industry. NICE!
I so much hope that this very bad stuttering on nVidia GPUs is being fixed asap. Only game which makes me boot up Win11. I would even accept no Frame Generation and 40ish FPS on my 4070-ti, but those stutters make it unplayable!
