It isn’t Intelligent anything…It is a kill switch, a government governor, a nanny…full time monitoring of the motor fleet. What’s not to love ?

What does a raspberry sound like in Swedish ?
Track. Two hour stint at Lemons. No cops, deer, random bicycles, potholes, or texting minivan drivers. You, limits of adhesion, and every corner has a different setup due to traffic. You are trash when you get out of the car, but it’s good trash…
Street. I love the rural roads of Dutchess and Columbia county NY…twisty, bucolic rolling hills, light traffic. Gentle cruise with an occasional nice corner.
Thank you. I have two of the towers, connected with ethernet. Full coverage of everywhere I care about, and they hand-off wifi calls seamlessly. I dread the day they die…they just work and full AC speed reliably.
I’m advised that they are still a bit of a science experiment. Inheriting the bills for repairs (dealer only, for you early adopters) is a brave, risky or foolish choice.
The Green Hell _ Jackie Stewart ?
We had the Acura bug, it was some programmer didn’t include a table of values. The work around to set clock was wait until exactly 1 pm, disconnect and reconnect battery, clock would default to 1 pm.
thanks, I always thought it was a 1:1…
I bought a module to reprogram the Multibeam LED, and after seeing a guy on youtube who had Xentry and a laptop do it by hand, I was happy I’d bought a module…
Cool, those actually work ! F150 ? Who knew ?
That is what the Benz system did when programmed to US spec. Oddly, it wasn’t that sensitive though, you’d still glare folks.
I paid for a coding plug for the Mercedes…I did see a you tube video of a guy who showed how to code the modules (two in my case) and by the time he was done, I was happy I paid for a coding plug…
Won’t pass emissions or safety. Also, you think the fact that cars are expensive is accidental ? The marketers know how to price, how to price parts, and the engineers know exactly how those parts will last. When too many parts die x price the vehicle is useless.
They could build a long lasting vehicle. They choose not to. This is aimed at the third world where buying any vehicle is a huge stretch and it will be run into the ground. Think saharan africa
Most cars aren’t driven hard at all. You can usually get away from a pack of stopped traffic in a Camry with screaming CVT because most drivers are finishing their texts before driving.
You need 300 or so hp because when people are being stupid and you need to get away, mr 50mph blocking the left lane will wake up and floor it as soon as traffic clears, so your easy 50-70 pass is now a stupid 70-90 roll on. You want a bit more than the average for easy placement in a pack and to avoid clumps-this isn’t a slow car fast thing.
Beyond 400 hp, you don’t gain much. I find cars like this frustrating, as there are only so many highway on ramps.
GM parts bin sucks. GM will warranty you when new, they know the parts are crap, but the rolled into the shop guys see them when the bloom is off and the mother ship doesn’t recall your name.
Business will peak and valley. Don’t buy a new Benz when its up, don’t contemplate self harm when it is down.
Not all customers are worth it. Learn the threshold for “pass”. No matter what your business, there will be a few who will not be worth serving.
I’ve built a race car…to do so has tested every parameter.
Long term project…do one system at a time…over time. Research, source the part…don’t be afraid to buy a tool, or special tool.
Marathon, not sprint.
check out any bicycle forum, and see what they say about SUV’s (lol)
