As much as I’ve complained about the steelers this year, they’re really in pretty good shape. They’ve got talent, they’re 7-4 and have a favorable schedule coming up.

It’s good to show emotion but not every week. Teammates get tired of it. That’s probably why Minkah got involved. But if things were that bad, my question is, why was it allowed to go on for so long?
I concur. The QB, O-line and WR issues should all be taken care of, now that canada was dismissed.
I was gonna say slightly better until I saw the last one. But just win. Who cares about style points. Getting rid of canada isn’t going to help kenny see the field better, improve his accuracy or pocket awareness in one week. Better play call selection and using Warren in crunch time would be a nice start though.
Not getting the ball to warren with the game on the line had to be the last nail. Looking at the lack of success over the last few years, the firing was long overdue. But thinking that a different play caller is going to fix all kenny’s deficiencies over night is unrealistic. The steelers should probably be looking to upgrade the QB position sooner rather than later.
They’re not going to be able to change much schematically at this point. If they were going to make a move like this, I’m not sure why it wasn’t done at the break. But inaccurate throws, not seeing the field and poor pocket presence aren’t on the OC or offensive line. Those are issues the QB needs to solve.
Would you care to explain the “well you know” comment? Most of the critiques I’ve seen are regarding his lack luster playoff performance for the last decade or so. Is there something wrong about pointing out he’s lost to blake bortles, baker mayfield and tim tebow in the playoffs, 2 of those games at home? Or is there some other mysterious reason that you know of that people want him gone? And please, back it up with factual evidence if possible.

Winning a wild card game with this team would be a huge surprise. More likely, if they somehow manage to sneak into the playoffs, I see another playoff blowout looming.
Either a troll post or a drunk post. That can be the only explaination for it. Of course you could say they’re aware he’s not very good. That’s recognition, i suppose.
It doesn’t sting as much if you have realistic expectations. There’s been multiple games like this during Mike Tomlin’s tenure. The result shouldn’t be too surprising. Don’t want to hear about injuries. Every team has them. Coming out flat against a supposedly inferior team is a tomlin tradition.
