When invoker was picked, everybody experienced a few seconds lag for all his 27 spells to load.

Here is an exercise: look up your games from 1 year ago. You will find that the players who were bad in your games are 2 medals lower and those that were good are 2 medals higher than the rank they had at that game.
Now, the ones who dropped far down did not affect you games as much as those who were much better. Therefore, smurfs are worse than account buyers.

Here is a simple and semi-accurate Smurf presence test:

Look at the games you played over 6 months ago. You will see the guy who did really well is now 2000 mmr higher. Was that a Smurf? Probably.

I suspect Chrome/Bing browser hogs memory causing crashes. But I didn’t prove it yet.

Last crash it recovered automatically right away and this is how it happened:

Then leave steam idle.
